Acceptance of terms
By accessing the CheckDeskPro marketing website, requesting a demo, or using the CheckDeskPro application, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms are a launch-safe draft and may change before final legal review.
Service description
CheckDeskPro provides software to help businesses design check and voucher layouts, manage print workflows, track printed checks, maintain operational registers, and run reports. Features may vary by plan, tenant configuration, and release phase. We may add, change, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.
Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Accuracy of account, payee, and transaction information you enter
- Maintaining appropriate internal controls over users and permissions
- Compliance with laws applicable to your business and check operations
- Backing up or exporting data important to your operations
Check printing and verification
CheckDeskPro helps prepare and track check printing workflows. You remain solely responsible for reviewing every check before printing and issuance, verifying payee, amount, account, MICR line accuracy, and stock alignment. We do not guarantee that any check will be accepted by a bank or clearing system.
No financial, legal, or tax advice
CheckDeskPro is operational software, not professional advice. We do not provide accounting, legal, tax, or banking advice. Consult qualified professionals for decisions affecting your business, taxes, or regulatory obligations.
Account security
You must protect login credentials and promptly notify us of unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your accounts except where caused by our gross negligence, to the extent permitted by law.
Acceptable use
You may not use CheckDeskPro to:
- Violate applicable law or third-party rights
- Attempt unauthorized access, interference, or disruption of the service
- Upload malicious code or unlawful content
- Misrepresent identity or affiliation
Subscription and billing
Paid plans, pricing, invoicing, and payment terms will be described in order forms, statements, or separate billing agreements when available. Self-serve checkout may not be offered during pilot or early access. Billing questions: billing@checkdeskpro.com.
Availability and support
We strive to keep CheckDeskPro available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Published uptime or support SLAs are not offered unless expressly agreed in writing. Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis via email during business hours unless otherwise stated.
Intellectual property
CheckDeskPro, its branding, software, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited right to use the service according to your agreement with us. You retain ownership of your business data subject to our rights to host and process it to provide the service.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CheckDeskPro and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data loss, or business interruption. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the fees paid by you for the service in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100) if no fees were paid, unless a different amount is required by applicable law.
Termination
You may stop using the service according to your account arrangement. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms, non-payment where applicable, or to protect the service or other customers. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will survive.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes may be communicated by email, in-product notice, or website posting. Continued use after the effective date of updated terms may constitute acceptance, to the extent permitted by law.
